Almaty's Sairan Lake has completed a significant revitalization project, with its shores now fully landscaped and ready to welcome visitors. The area is set to become a picturesque destination, featuring the blooming of hundreds of lotus flowers and the opening of new food courts.

Revitalized Lakeside Experience

Construction work on the protective structures and landscaping around the lake concluded on December 24, 2025, with an official acceptance certificate signed. Following this, on April 10, the area was officially handed over to the management of the 'Zhasyl Almaty' State Communal Enterprise. The handover and acceptance procedures are currently ongoing.

A Splash of Color and Nature

As part of the project, all planned greenery has been planted around the lake. Once the water is completely filled, arrangements are in place to plant 404 Far Eastern lotus specimens, promising a stunning display of natural beauty.

Enhanced Safety and Comfort

To ensure visitor comfort and safety, public restrooms are now operational within the lake area. These facilities are open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and are maintained with regular cleaning. Additionally, a video surveillance system has been installed, and police patrols will ensure consistent security throughout the grounds.

Culinary Delights on the Horizon

The opening of food courts in the newly landscaped area will commence once the full transfer of the object to the management of 'Zhasyl Almaty' is completed. This will add a new dimension to the visitor experience, offering diverse dining options by the scenic lake.
