Kazakh Marines Undergo Intense Tank Obstacle Training at Oymasha Range
In a rigorous test of courage and skill, over 500 young marines from the western region of Kazakhstan have successfully completed a critical phase of their basic training. The soldiers navigated challenging obstacle courses and underwent the demanding 'tank passage' exercise at the Oymasha training ground.
Intensive Training for New Recruits
The 542 recruits from the marine brigade, part of the 'West' regional command, faced the 'tank passage' and obstacle course as a key part of their young soldier course. This training is designed to immerse new recruits in realistic combat scenarios.
After studying military regulations and honing their drill and physical fitness, the marines moved to practical application. On the tactical field, they practiced capturing trenches, engaging simulated enemy fire with blank ammunition, throwing training grenades, and executing tactical maneuvers against a mock adversary, all supported by armored vehicles.
Focus on Psychological Resilience
A significant emphasis was placed on the psychological preparedness of the young soldiers. The training aimed to prepare them for actions against enemy tank units and to build mental fortitude.
Lieutenant Colonel Zhenis Akhmetkaliev, head of the recruitment unit, stated, "All set objectives were fully met, with the soldiers successfully completing the tank passage and obstacle course." He highlighted that the tank passage is a vital step in preparing new recruits, fostering their endurance, reliability, and readiness to act under pressure.
Building Combat Spirit
The experience of a tank passing directly overhead was described as intense and requiring immense responsibility. However, recruits found that such moments fostered composure and built valuable combat experience.
One recruit, Private Nurlan Borambay from the Akmola region, shared his experience: "Thanks to the support of commanders and comrades, I overcame my fear and gained confidence in my abilities."
These practical sessions are crucial for the moral and psychological adaptation of the young soldiers to military service. Following the completion of their young soldier course, the marines are scheduled to take their oath on May 23rd.
